Please join the Peacemaking Task Force of the Albany Presbytery and Westminster Presbyterian Church for a conversation with Presbyterian Peacemaker Matilda Parker. Ms. Parker is a Ruling Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Monrovia, Liberia and the CEO of the Matilda Wokie Parker Foundation which facilitates the Palava Hut mediation process to resolve disputes in the 15 counties of Liberia. Ms. Parker will tell us about her conflict resolution work for 15-20 minutes and then we’ll open the conversation up for questions and discussion.
Ms. Parker will be visiting the Albany Presbytery September 15th-22nd, hosted by Westminster Presbyterian and visiting three other Albany Presbyterian congregations, and Union College’s Protestant Campus Ministry.
