Welcome to WPC

Welcome to Westminster!

Welcome to Westminster! We’re so glad you’re interested in learning more about our church. Click here for a short introduction to our community. You can learn about our beliefs here and our practices here (mission) and here (connect and grow). But the best way to get to know us is by visiting us on a Sunday morning. We’d love to welcome you to worship! If you’d like to join us online you can find the Zoom link here. If you’d like to join us in person, here’s some information you might find helpful:

How do I get here?

By car: Our church has a parking lot directly next to our building–set your GPS to 85 Chestnut Street and you’ll find it! Our Building Manager, John Fox, helps with parking most Sundays. He can fit about 30 cars into our lot. There is also street parking available around the neighborhood. The usual two-hour parking restriction doesn’t apply on Sundays.

By public transportation: Our church is just a one-block walk from the corner of Central Ave. and Swan Street where a number of Albany’s busses stop including the #1, #10, #11, #12 and #18. Check www.cdta.org for help in planning your route.

By bike: We have a railing in front of the church which is a perfect spot for locking your bike. In the summer months, consider using a bike share: www.cdphpcycle.org.

By foot: Westminster is located in one of the most walkable parts of Albany!
