In-Person Worship
December and Advent
We will meet to prepare out pageant, “Fear Not,” written by Pastor Heather Kirk-Davidoff.
Children and youth invited to be part of this year’s Christmas pageant. It is hoped that all our children will participate in this fun pageant. If you have any questions, please contact Belinda at christianed@wpcalbany.org.
Church School Schedule:
- We will meet the first 2 Sundays in Dec to prepare for the pageant.
- Sunday, Dec 15th, meet in-person and perform the pageant during the Second-Hour.
- Sunday, Dec 22nd, we will meet online only
Start time:
This week we will hold a dress rehearsal for the pageant. The children will leave the worship service at 10:30 for the pageant dress rehearsal.
Youth Retreat–Saturday, December 28th:
There will be a youth retreat on Saturday, December 28. This will be a time for youth who have been away in school to reconnect and share stories with those who have been home, pray, sing, play games, eat, and build community.
Curriculum:
We shall use the Children’s Ministry Curriculum, which is adaptable to all denominations and easy to use during in-person and online settings. Each month, we will have a new theme.
