Church School: In-person

We look forward to seeing you in-person at church as we learn together in Church School.

CHURCH SCHOOL IS IN-PERSON THIS WEEK (see the schedule below)

In-Person Worship and Lantern Workshop (event details)

Our children and youth will join the rest of the congregation for in-person worship on Sunday, November 3. This will be followed by the annual Lantern Workshop in the Assembly Room at 11:30am. All children and youth are welcome to join us.

The Theme for November is “Thanks.”

Our curriculum for the month offers an engaging and practical approach to instilling the essential value of gratitude in our children. This series helps children understand and express their thankfulness meaningfully by exploring biblical stories that highlight gratitude:

  • Week 1: “Forever Grateful.” Bible Story: Jesus Heals the Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11-19)
  • Week 2: “Beyond Blessing.” Bible Story: the Grateful Centurion (Matthew 8;5-13)
  • Week 3: “Holding Nothing Back.” Bible Story: The Thankful woman with the Alabaster Jar (Luke 7:36-50)
  • Week 4: “Grateful Givers.” Bible Story: Paul’s Praise for the Philippians Generosity (Philippians 4:10-20)

Christmas Pageant

Children and youth invited to be part of this year’s Christmas pageant. It is hoped that all our children will participate in this fun pageant titled, “Fear Not” written by Pastor Heather.

Church School Schedule:

  • First Sunday of the month we will meet in-person only
  • All other Sundays we will meet online only

Start time:

Online and in-person classes will start at 11:00 am

Curriculum:

We shall use the Children’s Ministry Curriculum, which is adaptable to all denominations and easy to use during in-person and online settings. Each month, we will have a new theme.

Thank you for ensuring that our children come to class and, by extension, remain active members of this community.
