FOCUS Churches Combined Summer Worship – July

FOCUS Churches is six covenant churches, united in a common calling to respond to our neighbor's needs in the city of Albany and beyond. Join us as we come together in a single worship service.

This will be a drive-in worship service held in the First Church parking lot. Feel free to remain in your car or bring folding chairs to enjoy the weather. You may enter the lot on Sheridan Avenue.

The parking lot is adjacent to the church building, located between North Pearl Street, Sheridan Avenue and Chapel Street. If using a GPS, you may enter “7 Sheridan Avenue.”

For more than 50 years, the six covenant churches of the FOCUS Churches of Albany have come together for worship three times during the summer. We take turns hosting the service, each featuring the music, liturgy, and preaching of that particular congregation. These services build our sense of community with each other, strengthening our ability to “do together what we cannot do separately” as our mission statement proclaims.
