FOCUS Churches Combined Summer Worship – July

FOCUS Churches is five covenant churches, united in a common calling to respond to our neighbor's needs in the city of Albany and beyond. Join us as we come together in a single worship service.

The FOCUS Combined Summer Worship season will begin with gathering at our covenant church, First Church in Albany. Details include:

  • When: July 5, 2026
  • Location: First Church in Albany, 110 North Pearl St, Albany
  • Worship Service Time: 10:00 am
  • Parking: This is an outdoor service and people worship in their cars or bring folding chairs to sit in. There will be ushers in the parking lot to help you as you arrive.
  • Online Worship: We look forward to worshiping with you in-person and online. Worshiping online is available on YouTube.

  • Worship with Communion–for those worshiping online: Please gather your own communion elements prior to the service—any kind of bread and any kind of drink in any kind of cup.

Please stay after worship and join us for “Lemonade Lull” and hot dogs.

Any undesignated offerings beyond specific giving for the congregation will go to support FOCUS.

For more than 50 years, the covenant churches of the FOCUS Churches of Albany have come together for worship three times during the summer. We take turns hosting the service, each featuring the music, liturgy, and preaching of that particular congregation. These services build our sense of community with each other, strengthening our ability to “do together what we cannot do separately” as our mission statement proclaims.
