In December 2022, Governor Hochul and NYSERDA announced the formation of 12 Regional Clean Energy Hubs to help all New Yorkers move to a clean energy future.
Capital District Community Energy is part of the Capital Region Clean Energy Hub which provides key information about how to reduce energy costs, make your home more energy efficient, and access a variety of incentives, rebates and tax credits depending on income eligibility. Whether you are a homeowner, tenant or landlord, there are products and programs to help you achieve your energy goals and save money.
In this presentation, we’ll explore programs such as community solar, energy audits and assessments, heat pumps and heat pump water heaters, the NYSERDA Empower Program and how the Inflation Reduction Act can help you.
We’ll also take you on a tour of the HeatSmart Capital Region website where you can enroll and get a free, no obligation energy assessment from a vetted provider.
