Reverend James R. Thompson, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023.

Active in ministry for over 40 years serving churches in Congers, N.Y., Sterling, N.J., and Teaneck, N.J., he retired in 1996 after 26 years as Pastor of Jermain Memorial Presbyterian Church in Watervliet. Upon retirement, he became an active member of our congregation. He was an enthusiastic participant in our Vigil for Racial Justice, our monthly TGIF Zoom calls with the Deacons, and supported our congregation in numerous other ways over the years. He will be dearly missed. We hold his family and all who loved him in our prayers

A luncheon will follow the service in the WPC Fellowship Hall.
