We’ve been inspired by Eric Liu’s Civic Saturday programs that bring friends and strangers together to reflect on the values and practices that our democracy is built on. We’ll share some music, poetry and other readings, tell some of our own stories and build our sense of common purpose. This is a free event, open to all ages. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Come at 3:00 pm if you’d like to join our Conversation Club prior to our event. This weekly event pairs English language learners with native speakers for language practice, connection, and fun.

This event is offered completely free of charge. The Westminster Commons is hosted by the Westminster Presbyterian Church and led by a group of neighbors and friends. Our goal is to help different people and groups in the Capital Region connect to create a sense of common purpose, address problems and enjoy life more. The Commons is supported by the US@250 Fellowship at New America.
