Grateful Living & Faithful Giving: 2025 Stewardship Campaign

Oct 15, 2025

Psalm 118: “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”

We officially kicked off our 2025 Stewardship Campaign on October 12th. During worship the Stewardship & Budget committee announced our goal of raising $210,000 to support the 2026 budget.

While this seems like an ambitious goal, and this number has significantly increased from years past, we feel confident in our endeavor through our theme of “Grateful Living & Faithful Giving.”

As a congregation, we took time to reflect on all that our generosity makes possible, including:

  • Our talented choir and music program
  • Dedicated leaders and youth program teachers
  • The behind-the-scenes work of our staff, IT, and Communications team
  • The care and upkeep of our beautiful, historic building
  • Our commitment to FOCUS and the local Emergency Overflow Homeless Shelter
  • Mission partnerships, both local and global, including our African Mission initiatives

Like most everything we give thanks for, these come with expenses. But this financial goal is not something to dread, this is an ideal time to appreciate all that we have.

The Stewardship & Budget Team ask, that in addition to your unwavering support of our goal, that you join us in pledging, and ask that you consider increasing your pledge. As we know, each and every pledge will have a profound impact on all of these points of gratitude and more.

You’ll notice a large “Gratitude Tree” in the back of the sanctuary. This will remain with us throughout our stewardship campaign. Next time you’re in, take a moment to fill out a leaf with something you are grateful for. I’m looking forward to seeing this tree grow over the next five weeks as we all consider how our pledges will impact our blessings.

As always, thank you for your continued support. I am endlessly grateful for this WPC community we share!

Kate Gallagher, Ruling Elder
