You are invited to join Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger, a Zionist settler, and Noor A’wad, a Palestinian activist, as they share their personal, interconnected stories and present the groundbreaking and challenging grassroots work of Roots/Shorashim/Judur. They do not come with blueprinted peace plans in hand, but with the deep conviction that human understanding and trust are the prerequisites for lasting justice, freedom, and peace in that little sliver of land they both call home.

Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Noor A’wad are peacemakers touring the United States representing Roots/Shorashim/Judur (www.friendsofroots.net), an Israeli-Palestinian grassroots initiative for understanding, nonviolence and transformation, strategically located in the Gush Etzion-Hebron area of the West Bank, a region that frequently experiences the pain of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
